Richa Maheshwari has moved on from Zee Media Corporation Limited and joined Times Internet as Specialist, Learning & Development, marking a transition in her HR career within the media and digital ecosystem.
Maheshwari spent over five years at Zee Media, where she held multiple roles across the human resources function, most recently serving as Deputy Manager – Human Resources. During her tenure, she was closely aligned with business units including WION, Zee Bihar Jharkhand and Zee Rajasthan, working in an HR Business Partner (HRBP) capacity and supporting organisational objectives through people strategy and stakeholder management.
In her role, she was responsible for driving stakeholder engagement across levels of management, designing HR interventions aligned to business metrics and ensuring strategic alignment between HR and organisational goals. She also played a key role in fostering a learning culture within the organisation, implementing Training Needs Identification (TNI) frameworks, deploying Learning Management Systems and facilitating e-learning modules and subject matter expert sessions.
Maheshwari was also involved in strengthening reward and recognition programmes aimed at building a culture of motivation and appreciation, while leading employee engagement initiatives ranging from town halls and surveys to cultural and internal communication activities. Her responsibilities further included corporate communication strategy for HR outreach, onboarding processes including structured induction programmes and the ‘Buddy System’ framework, as well as benchmarking and streamlining HR policies.
Prior to her role as Deputy Manager, she served as Assistant Manager – HR at Zee Media, where she continued to focus on learning and development, employee engagement, communication strategy and HR policy frameworks, while also handling HRBP responsibilities for multiple regional and network teams.
Before joining Zee Media, Maheshwari worked with Unilodgers as Specialist – People & Culture, where she was involved in aligning HR operations with business strategy, workforce planning, attrition management, succession planning and talent development initiatives. Her role also included driving performance management systems, payroll processes and HR transformation projects to improve operational efficiency.
