Gunender Kapur reappointed as Vishal Mega Mart MD & CEO till 2031

Vishal Mega Mart has reappointed Gunender Kapur as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for another five-year term and redesignated him as Founder, Managing Director & CEO.
According to the regulatory filing, Kapur’s new tenure will run from 1 September 2026, to 31 August 2031. He was appointed as Managing Director and CEO for a three-year term beginning 27 June 2024, which was originally due to end on 26 June 2027.
Kapur has more than 42 years of experience in management and investment across the consumer and retail sectors. He has previously worked with Hindustan Lever, Unilever Nigeria PLC, Reliance Industries and TPG Capital.
