- Colgate-Palmolive has appointed Samir Singh as President of Enterprise Oral Care, effective June 1, 2024, and he will join the company's Leadership Team.
- Singh will relocate to New York with his family later this year and expressed enthusiasm for leading the oral care business and fostering growth within the organization.
- He has been serving as Executive Vice President for the Asia-Pacific region at Colgate-Palmolive since December 2024 and previously worked at Unilever for over 16 years in various senior leadership roles.
- Singh's extensive experience includes roles in marketing and management across multiple markets and categories, with a focus on major consumer brands like Dove and Lifebuoy.
Colgate-Palmolive has elevated Samir Singh as President, Enterprise Oral Care, effective 1 June. In his new role, Singh will also join the company's Leadership Team and relocate to New York with his family later this year.
Announcing the development on LinkedIn, Singh said he was looking forward to leading Colgate-Palmolive's oral care business and working with teams across the organisation to drive future growth.
Singh has served as Executive Vice President, Asia-Pacific at Colgate-Palmolive since joining the company in December 2024. Reflecting on his time in the role, he described his first 18 months with the company as a period of significant business progress and personal learning.
Prior to joining Colgate-Palmolive, Singh spent more than 16 years with Unilever, where he held a number of senior leadership positions across markets and categories. Most recently, he served as Global Chief Marketing Officer for Unilever's Personal Care business.
During his tenure at Unilever, Singh also served as Chair of Unilever Asia Pte Ltd between 2021 and 2023 and was a member of the Hindustan Unilever Management Committee, where he led the Beauty & Personal Care business in India.
Singh began his career with Hindustan Unilever as a management trainee and went on to hold a range of roles across sales, foods, beauty and skincare businesses.
With more than 25 years of experience, Singh has led global and country businesses across markets including India, the United States, Europe, Southeast Asia and China. His experience spans several major consumer brands, including Dove, Lifebuoy, Axe, Lux and Rexona.
