Chandra Kumar has been appointed as Market Head of Canada at Nestle. The company shared his new role through a LinkedIn post. Kumar’s role will be effective from September 1.
Chandra began his career in Canada and has more than 27 years of experience across Nestlé, holding leadership positions in general management, marketing, and finance across markets including the U.S., Canada, Poland, Brazil, and Vevey. Chandra is well-positioned to lead the Canadian market with deep industry experience and expertise, as well as strong financial acumen.
In the post, the company announced that John Carmichael, currently Market Head of Canada, has decided to return to the US and take a new role outside of the food and beverage industry. As a result, Nestlé Canada has named Chandra Kumar, President of Nestlé Nutrition U.S. and Canada, as Market Head of Canada, effective September 1, with the transition beginning now.
