Cargill names Ravinder Balain as Country President – India
Dheeraj Talreja steps in as Vice President and Managing Director for Food South Asia

Cargill has appointed Ravinder Balain and Dheeraj Talreja to senior leadership roles. Balain has been named as Country President for the company in India, whilst Talreja has joined as Vice President and Managing Director for Food South Asia.
Balain joined Cargill in 2024 as Managing Director, South Asia - Animal Nutrition and Health. For over three decades years he served in the agriculture industry. He has held global leadership roles in P&L, commercial operations, Six Sigma project management and sourcing. Prior to joining Cargill, Balain worked with Corteva Agriscience, FMC Corporation, DuPont, among others.
On the other hand, Talreja was previously associated with AAK for nearly seven years as President- India, South Asia & Sub Sahara. He had joined the company in 2000 as COO. Before that, he has also worked with Huntsman Corporation for over 11 years.
