Barclays appoints Rajesh Iyer as Director, Customer Propositions & Marketing
Barclays has announced the appointment of Rajesh Iyer as Director of Customer Propositions and Marketing (India). Prior to joining Barclays, Iyer had played several key roles at HSBC for 12 years.
Barclays has announced the appointment of Rajesh Iyer as Director of Customer Propositions and Marketing (India). Iyer brings with him 22 years of rich and varied experience in financial services across Sales & Distribution, Propositions, Marketing, Branch banking and Customer Service.
Commenting on Iyer’s appointment, Suvrat Saigal, Consumer Banking Director, Barclays Corporate (India), said, “I am delighted to have Rajesh as part of our team in India. Rajesh will drive and shape Barclays marketing and customer proposition in India. With his expertise and insights, I am sure Rajesh will push the bar of customer experience higher.”
Prior to joining Barclays, Iyer had played several key roles at HSBC for 12 years, setting up its Retail Assets business in Western India, its Liabilities & Wealth Management, NRI Marketing functions and implementing sales transformation strategy for branch banking. His last assignment at HSBC was as Head of Marketing for Personal Financial Services.
Iyer has previously worked with Tata Finance Ltd and 20th Century Finance Corporation Ltd.
