Ashish Mishra has moved on from his role as Chief Marketing Officer at Acko, bringing to a close a nearly six-year stint at the digital insurance company.
Mishra was the CMO at Acko from August 2020 to April 2026, based in Bengaluru.
He joined Acko after a long tenure at HSBC, where he spent more than a decade across a range of senior marketing roles in the UAE.
His assignments at the bank included Head of Marketing for Cards, Loans and Mortgages, Regional Marketing Manager for Media and Foreign Exchange, and Regional Manager Marketing for personal loans, mortgages, auto loans and digital channel migration, among other positions.
Before HSBC, he also worked with Lowe Lintas and DDB Mudra Group in brand and communications roles, according to his professional profile.
During his time at Acko, Mishra was one of the key marketing leaders associated with the brandits identity in India’s fast-evolving digital insurance market. In recent months, he was quoted in connection with Acko Life’s “Unmixed” brand philosophy, which positioned pure protection against the category’s traditional mix of insurance and investment products.
He had also remained visible in public conversations around the future of marketing and creativity.
Mishra has also spoken about how Acko was integrating AI into creative workflows, reflecting the company’s experimentation with newer brand-building tools and processes.
