Aha’s Head of Content Vaasudev Koppineni steps down

Koppineni’s next move is unclear but he is expected to join another media firm in June

Seasoned media executive Vaasudev Koppineni, has stepped down from his role as Head of Content and Non-Subscription Revenue Business at Aha, the leading regional OTT platform. 

He will be serving his notice period till May end, e4m has learnt. His next professional move was not immediately clear. 

While Koppineni did not respond, company officials confirmed the development. 

With over a decade of experience in content creation, strategy, and business development, Vaasudev has held pivotal roles at prominent organizations such as Sony Entertainment, YuppTV, and Housing.com.

 At Aha, he is credited with shaping the platform's content strategy, overseeing the launch of successful shows like Unstoppable with NBK, 3 Roses, and Sarkaar. He also championed initiatives like the Writers Hunt, aimed at discovering and nurturing new talent .

Under his leadership, Aha expanded its content offerings, including the introduction of K-dramas and Deccani content, to cater to diverse viewer interests.
