Aditya Tandon moves on from Network18

Hearsay suggests he will likely be taking up a role at Zee Media

Aditya Tandon has decided to move on from Network18 after a stint of nearly 12 years, sources have told e4m. At Network18, he was responsible for marketing the Hindi cluster comprising seven national and regional news channels. 

Hearsay suggests he will likely be taking up a role at Zee Media.

Tandon is a seasoned marketing leader with over two decades of international experience in building and leading brands.

His key skill areas include brand management, strategy, planning, budgeting, go to market, project management, advertising, ATL, media planning, PR & communication, events, digital, SMM, BTL /OOH/Activations, B2B, lead management, CRM, promotions, partnerships, research, and operations.

Tandon was previously with Asia Pacific Communication Associates for two years from 2011-2013, where he was responsible for various strategic product and marketing assignments. His work varied from promotional programs for newspaper brands in Nepal to evangelizing various digital projects. This was his second stint with the organisation after he kickstarted his career with the same organisation in 1998.

He was the Director of Strategy and Marketing at Directi as well. He was part of the team set up by Directi to launch bigrock.com, the group's foray into the B2C space. Additionally, he set up the marketing operations from scratch including the on-boarding of the creative and media agencies.

During June to December 2009, he was the DGM of Service Marketing vertical at Videocon Mobile. Prior to that, he was the Chief Manager for Times of India for one year. 

Tandon was also associated with Senior Brand Manager for The Financial Express where he had all India responsibility for the brand function including strategy, campaign management, agency handling, media planning, MR, sales promotions, events and alliances.
