Purushottam Vaishnav quits as Zee Media’s Non-Executive Non-Independent Director

Zee Media’s Non-Executive Non-Independent Director Purushottam Vaishnav has resigned from his post. Zee Media has informed the stock exchange about this. According to the company, Purushottam Vaishnav has resigned from his post after the completion of work from 25 November 2024.
An official statement issued by the company said that Purushottam Vaishnav has resigned due to personal reasons and other compelling circumstances. The statement clarified that there is no other significant reason behind the resignation, except the personal reasons mentioned in the resignation letter.
Vaishnav was appointed by the Board of Directors of the company in December 2022 in the category of Non-Executive Non-Independent Director.
Purushottam Vaishnav, a post graduate in commerce from Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer, has more than two decades of experience working in the media industry. Earlier, he was the CEO of Cluster-2 channels in 'Zee Media Corporation Limited', under which Hindi and other regional news channels were included.
