Abhisheik Joshi has taken up a new role as Chief Executive Officer at New Media Holding.
Joshi stepped down as the Head of ShemarooMe in March.
He joined ShemarooMe in March 2023 and focused on strengthening the platform’s position in the competitive OTT landscape.
Before joining ShemarooMe, Joshi held senior leadership roles at various media organizations.
At MX Player, he was Senior Vice President and Business Head for SVoD and Business Partnerships, where he played a crucial role in building the platform’s subscription model, MX Gold.
Prior to that, he was at Sony Pictures Networks India.
