Northern Railway invites tenders for display of ads at Shimla railway station
Northern Railway has invited tenders under the ‘two-packet’ system offering ad rights for the Shimla railway station. These rights will be offered for a period of three years. The EMD required for this tender is Rs 17,100.
Northern Railway has invited tenders under the ‘two-packet’ system offering display ad rights through 43 glow signs and boards covering 624 sq. ft display area and three hoardings/ unipoles covering 510 sq. ft display area as per approved tender zone at the Shimla railway station. These rights will be offered for a period of three years. Successful bidders will be allowed to display advertisements at platforms, concourse and circulating areas. The EMD required for this tender is Rs 17,100.
The reserve price for the first year has been kept at Rs 8.55 lakh. The license fee from the second year onwards shall bear an annual escalation of 10 per cent and 15 per cent, respectively, over the previous year’s license fee.
Successful bidders shall be required to reserve 10 per cent of allotted display area for railway messages.
Tender forms with detailed terms and conditions can be obtained from the office of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Northern Railway, DRM Office, Ambala Cantt, on any working day up to 5 pm on October 19, 2010 on payment of Rs 3,000.
If the tender forms are downloaded from the website, the cost of tender documents can be paid through a bank draft favouring the Senior Divisional Finance Manager, Northern Railway, Ambala Cantt, Haryana.
