Zee Media Corporation ad revenue up 35.7% in Q1
The company’s operating profit has registered a growth of 83.6% for the quarter ended June 30

Zee Media Corporation Ltd (ZMCL)’s net profit for the quarter ended June 30 has dropped 52.9 per cent to Rs 26.07 crore, as compared to Rs 55.38 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last financial year, media reports said.
However, the company’s operating profit has registered a growth of 83.6% to Rs 65.88 crore as against Rs 35.88 crore.
The EBITDA margin has grown from 23.2 per cent to 32.8 per cent and the operating revenue has jumped 29.7 per cent to Rs 200.6 crore from Rs 154.6 crore.
The company has reported that its expenditure has jumped 13.4 per cent to Rs 134.7 crore from Rs 118.8 crore.
The advertising revenue has increased by 35.7 per cent to Rs 185.9 crore, compared to Rs 136.9 crore.
The subscription revenue have remained flat at Rs 11.28 crore, compared to Rs 11.1 crore in the same period previous year.
