Prime Minister Narendra Modi came down heavily on Sadhvi Pragya Thakur in an interview to News24.

He said he will never forgive Thakur for insulting Mahatma Gandhi by calling his killer Nathuram Godse a "Deshbhakt (Patriot)".

Speaking to News24 in his last interview during the ongoing elections, Modi termed Thakur's statement "utterly disgusting".

Though she had apologised for her statement, PM Modi did not seemed moved. "It’s utterly disgusting. It deserves to be hated by one and all. People should think 100 times before making such statements. Such a thought and language is not acceptable in civilised society. She may have apologised, but I will never forgive her all my life," said the Prime Minister Modi while speaking to News24.
