Leadership update at TV9 Bharatvarsh: Mohammad Sayeed named Head of Output

TV9 Bharatvarsh has announced a series of leadership role elevations across key functions in line with our growth plans and our commitment to recognising internal talent. These changes reinforce our strategic focus on strengthening editorial excellence, creative innovation, and network-wide visual identity.

By elevating proven internal leaders, we continue to retain institutional knowledge, deepen engagement, and build clear career pathways, further enhancing TV9 Bharatvarsh’s brand as an employer of choice in the news broadcasting space.

Mohammad Sayeed: Over the past three years, Mohammad Sayeed has demonstrated exceptional strength in content control and people management, and has seamlessly led the Output function through a leadership transition. He has ensured uninterrupted performance and upheld the channel’s editorial standards while balancing creative excellence with operational efficiency. Sayeed will now formally head the Output Team and oversee all Output Operations. Sayeed will report directly to the Managing Editor.

Sudhir Kumar Pandey: Sudhir has been instrumental in defining and maintaining the channel's distinctive look and feel, delivering consistently superior production and programming values. His collaboration with some of the other network channels, has helped drive a unified visual identity and operational standards across the network. Sudhir will now be the Head of Production. He will lead the Production team and manage operations. Sudhir will report directly to the Managing Editor.

Ashish Pandey: Ashish has successfully managed and curated the channel’s programming portfolio, including marquee political shows, election coverage, conclaves, and key signature properties such as &5 and Drishyam. His strategic thinking and sharp editorial judgement have ensured compelling, high-impact content that resonates with viewers while maintaining editorial integrity. Ashish will now be the Head of Programming. He will lead the team and drive the channel’s Programming Strategy, including Election Programming. Ashish will report directly to the Managing Editor.

Siddharth Tripathi: Siddharth has created flagship properties such as Satta and Fikr Apki, which have significantly strengthened the channel’s primetime identity. With his strong creative vision and ability to build differentiated show formats, he is well placed to drive the next phase of innovation. In addition to his current responsibilities, Siddharth will now lead the creation and implementation of the channel’s creative content strategy and programs under the ‘Next 9’ plan, focusing on future-ready products and brand value. Siddharth will report to the Managing Editor.

Mukul Purthi: Mukul has been central to shaping the channel’s visual language, using innovative graphics to make our content more interactive and engaging. As Senior Visualizer, he has consistently optimised the channel’s look and feel through continuous graphical innovation. Mukul is being elevated to Graphics Head, TV9 Bharatvarsh. In this role, he will be responsible for all channel graphics requirements, look and feel, and oversee the operations, coordinating closely with internal stakeholders. Mukul will report to the Network Head–Graphics, with a dotted-line reporting to the Managing Editor.

Vishal Shibora: Vishal, along with Mukul, has played an essential role in driving the evolution of graphics content at the channel. With his deep expertise, he will focus on network-level graphic initiatives and, along with his team, continue his responsibilities in TV9 Bharatvarsh on new initiatives and high-impact events. Vishal will report to the Network Head–Graphics.
