Sony Pictures Networks India is launching its new Hindi music HD channel called Sony Rox HD. With the tagline ‘Music, Melody, Madhoshi’, Sony Rox HD is scheduled to go on air on January 16 across DTH platforms. The network puts it as India’s true blue HD Hindi music channel and has set up a Facebook page in its name with the hashtag #MusicKiNayiAwaaz. It will be led by Neeraj Vyas, Senior EVP and business head, Sony Mix and Sony Max cluster.
Last March SPN India had reported to secure two downlinking licences, Sony Wah and Sony Rox. Sony Rox HD is the second Hindi music channel from the network after Sony Mix which was launched in 2011.
