Star India’s English cluster Business Head Nandini Singh will now head its Hindi
general entertainment channel Star Bharat.
Singh will replace Sagnik Ghosh, who will now head Star’s Bengali channel Star Jalsha, according to a source close to the development.
Nandini Singh has been associated with Star India for more than a decade now. She joined the network in 2005 as Manager- Research and Consumer Insights. Later, she was promoted as Senior Manager, Programming Strategy. In 2014, Singh was appointed the Business Head of Star Movies and was responsible for channel P&L with responsibility for driving the business across all functions such as programming/marketing/sales and distribution.
Prior to joining Star India, Singh was a media planner with Mindshare.
