Day 2 of SA vs India test match sees highest viewership of the series

The test match between India and South Africa on Sony Ten 3 witnessed high viewership in sports genre. The test match got 2.3 million impressions and topped the list of top five programmes in sports. The second spot too was grabbed by same match broadcast on Sony Ten 1 and recorded 2.05 million impressions.
According to data from BARC, day one of the test match recorded 3.37 million impressions. Day two of the match got highest viewership of the series and recorded 5.7 million impressions. On day three, the match got 4.86 million impressions. Day four saw a dip in viewership and witnessed 4.8million impressions. Day five of the match which was a complete washout for India where the team lost the test by 135 runs saw barely 3.9 million impressions.
In the list of top five sports channels of the week, Sony Ten 1 grabbed the first spot with 193.9 million impressions followed by Sony Ten 3 at the second spot with 173.8 million impressions. Star Sports First came in third with 59.2 million impressions. Star Sports 1 grabbed the fourth spot with 51.59 million impressions and finally, Star Sports 1 Hindi grabbed 34.19 million impressions.
