Andrew Jordan bows out of AsiaSat

Jordan will serve AsiaSat till 31 October 2018 as Senior Adviser

Andrew Jordan, Chief Executive Officer & Executive Director of Asia Satellite Telecommunications Holding Ltd (AsiaSat) resigned on 16 April. Jordan will be serving AsiaSat till 31 October 2018 as Senior Adviser.

Jordan will be succeeded by Dr Roger Tong, who held the post of Chief Technical Officer (CTO) VP, Engineering & Operations. During his tenure with AsiaSat which started in 2008, Dr Tong has led various satellite and teleport programmes. He has an experience of over 33 years in the satellite and telecommunications industry.

“On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to express my gratitude to Mr Jordan for his service. We look forward to his continued contribution as Senior Advisor to the Company,” said AsiaSat’s Chairman, Gregory Zeluck in a statement released to the media.

“We are confident that he has the strategic vision, capability and experience to continue to build AsiaSat’s leadership in this rapidly changing environment and to steer the company to its next phase of growth,” Zeluck added.
