ABP News Network rebrands itself as ABP Network
As part of the rebranding, CEO Avinash Pandey said the group will launch ABP Studios and has released a new logo
ABP News Network has announced its decision to reposition the ABP brand as businesses reopen worldwide.
Speaking on the announcement, CEO Avinash Pandey said: “I am thrilled to announce we are imparting a new lease of life to our organisation by changing the brand identity from ABP News Network to ABP Network. This name-change milestone marks a larger rebranding exercise, mirroring our company’s growth and transformation. ANN has always focused on delivering the most accurate news to viewers worldwide. Consequently, it emerged as an iconic brand with an undisputed news genre leadership. In recent years, however, our business and industry have seen seismic shifts. Now, it’s time to take the plunge and participate in the ongoing conversation and progress in our sector for scaling new heights.”
As part of the announcement, Pandey said from technological advancements to content innovation, the new avatar will give the group a leading edge in this hyper-competitive landscape. “While ‘ANN’ has always been the holding name for our suite of news channels, ABP Network will expand its offerings to allied spheres via the reoriented focus. This contemporary identity will provide ABP Network with the leeway to be more than just news – allowing us to be both leaders in quality news reporting across India as well as the linchpin of innovative content offerings.”
Pandey also said that as part of the transformation the group will launch ABP STUDIOS. “This will be our first foray into creating, producing and licensing Original content outside of news for this fast-evolving media landscape and dynamically changing consumption patterns of our audience. Our mission is to turn ABP Studios into a brand that is synonymous with path breaking content that enlightens, engages and entertains with relatable and reimagined pan Indian stories for a national and international audience.”
The new logo, Pandey said, reflects the delicate balance between solidity and change, clarity and simplicity, derring-do and narrative, permitting news channels, shows and media products to shine in their own light.
“The name and logo change will not involve any alterations to the organisation's nature and cherished values; nor will it impact existing commercial considerations with our partners. What it does mean is that we have more capabilities to offer you. Amid the transition, our commitment to providing you exceptional service, respect and dedication to quality – the founding pillars of ABP Network – will remain unchanged.”
