The News Broadcasters & Digital Association and Editors Guild of India have decided to depose before a parliamentary committee regarding their fight against fake news, media networks have reported.
The parliamentary committee will be headed by BJP MP Nishikant Dubey.
The members of NBDA and EGI will be meeting officials of the Standing Committee on Communications and Information on November 21.
Among other issues to be discussed will be the emergence and impact of new forms of currencies and the advancement of Artificial Intelligence.
