Walt Disney Co’s media review goes to Publicis and Omnicom
According to some media reports, WPP likely to retain India business
The Walt Disney Co. has awarded its $2.2 billion media review to Publicis Media and Omnicom Media Group, media reports have said.
Omnicom is reported to have retained planning and buying duties for Disney Studios in the US and now has won the same for Canada too.
Omnicom will be servicing the account via OMG23.
According to some media reports, WPP is likely to retain the India business.
Some media reports quoted Publicis Chairman and CEO Arthur Sadoun from an interal memo as saying that Publicis Media has been awarded the entire global buying and planning business for Disney theme parks and Disney+. Publicis has also bagged the company's media business in EMEA, APAC and Latin America regions, news reports further said.
