Vani Gupta steps down as Marketing Director, Indian Snacks, Foods, PepsiCo

Vani Gupta, Marketing Director, Indian Snacks, Foods at PepsiCo has stepped down from her role.
Gupta joined PepsiCo in 2011 from Unilever where she was the Regional Marketing Manager, Hair, South Asia and South East Asia. At PepsiCo she worked on new businesses, Quaker and puffed snacks before being promoted to Marketing Director, Indian Snacks. She managed the full Kurkure portfolio with some creditable campaigns in her tenure that won several awards like the KKR Family Express. It was also under her leadership that a full range of namkeens and several innovations, national and regional, were launched in the KKR portfolio.
Prior to PepsiCo, Gupta was Brand Manager at the Reckitt Benckiser Group from October 2003 to October 2005 and Brand Manager, Henkel from September 2001 to August 2003. Gupta started her career in advertising with RK Swamy, later moving on to Leo Burnett as Account Supervisor. She worked on Adidas, Coca Cola and Cosmopolitan brands among others.
Gupta holds an MBA from the reputed Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurugram and Bachelors in Commerce from Delhi University.
Gupta has also been the recipient of many awards and accolades. She was named amongst the 100 most Influential Marketing Leaders listed by the World Marketing Congress for 2016 and amongst the Hottest Young Executives by a reputed business publication in 2015. She is also the recipient of the ‘India Region Above and Beyond 2014 Chairman’s Award’ from Indra Nooyi, for successfully building a new platform of growth for Pepsi Foods in 2014. She has also won the Innovation Excellence Award 2013, and the AMEA PwP Sustained Performance Award.
