The third edition of the Pitch BFSI Summit & Awards will be held on September 24 in Mumbai. The summit is all set to bring together influential leaders and changemakers from across the banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) sectors. One of the key highlights of the conference is an interesting discussion by Shri T. Adhikari, Executive Director (MD & CEO), LIC Housing Finance, on the transformative role of digitalization in housing finance. His thoughts on the topic titled ‘Bricks, Bytes & Bharat: Transforming Dreams into Digital Realities’, promises to offer thought-provoking insights.

During the discussion, Adhikari will discuss how the housing finance sector is embracing digital innovation while continuing to fuel India’s aspirations of affordable home ownership. He will share key insights on improving accessibility, streamlining processes, and enhancing customer experiences.

Adhikari took over as the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer for LIC Housing Finance Ltd (LICHFL) from August 2023. Prior to this, he was the Chief Operating Officer of LICHFL. He joined LIC of India as a Direct Recruit Officer of the 17th Batch in September 1989. His tenure spans over a period of three decades in varied capacities and pivotal assignments, mainly in the areas of Marketing and Information Technology.

He has worked across diverse locations in the country throughout his career. The vast geographical exposure has endowed him with a profound understanding of regional dynamics, market nuances, and evolving customer sentiments. His notable assignments include Regional Manager (Marketing), Eastern Zone, Kolkata, and as Senior Divisional Manager in charge of the Dehradun and Kanpur Divisions of LIC of India. As a Marketing Manager, he has served in the states of Maharashtra and Uttarakhand.
