Ronita Mitra quits Vodafone

Ronita Mitra has resigned as Senior Vice President – Brand Communications and Insights at Vodafone, confirm industry sources.

Mitra has 21 years of experience in business marketing and brand building across multiple categories and industries, including FMCG, financial services and telecom. The experience covers managing brands in India with significant global exposure.

She has worked with FMCG organisations such as Johnson & Johnson, Bestfoods, Marico.


While at ICICI Bank, Mitra had worked on the communication strategy post the economic crisis at ICICI Bank and launched the new brand identity of ICICI Bank articulated as ‘Khayaal Aapka’. She was also involved with the relaunch of the masterbrand, Castrol for which India was the first go live country across the world and facilitating the relaunch in other countries across the world.
