Paytm cuts marketing spend by 55% YoY in Q1 FY26; revenue rises 28%

One97 Communications, the parent company of Paytm, reported its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025 (Q1 FY26).
Marketing and promotional expenses for the quarter stood at Rs 99.8 crore, a 30.1% decrease from Rs 142.7 crore in Q4 FY25, and a 54.9% decrease from Rs 221.4 crore in Q1 FY25.
Revenue from operations was Rs 1,917.5 crore, representing a 0.31% increase from Rs 1,911.5 crore in Q4 FY25, and a 27.7% increase from Rs 1,501.6 crore in Q1 FY25.
Other income stood at Rs 241.4 crore, up 7.9% from Rs 223.8 crore in Q4 FY25, and up 75.5% from Rs 137.5 crore in Q1 FY25.
Total income was Rs 2,158.9 crore, a 1.1% increase from Rs 2,135.3 crore in Q4 FY25, and a 31.7% increase from Rs 1,639.1 crore in Q1 FY25.
Paytm reported a consolidated profit of Rs 142.8 crore, compared to a loss of Rs 19.6 crore in Q4 FY25 and a loss of Rs 837.3 crore in Q1 FY25.
