Indian Marketing Awards

The sixth edition of the exchange4media Indian Marketing Awards was held at ITC Maratha, Mumbai, this evening. The awards recognize the fact that marketing is critical for the organic growth of a business and its central role in creating, communicating, capturing and sustaining value for an organization.

The awards were presented to organizations, individuals and teams who have achieved extraordinary success with innovative and effective marketing practices. The event also hosted an all-day conference - India Brand Conclave 2019 - before the awards function. The theme of the conference this year was ‘Brand in Culture’.

In the Excellence Awards category, Aditya Puri, Managing Director, HDFC Bank, was honoured with the Gold Lifetime Achievement Award.

In the Excellence Awards sub-category - Marketing Team of the Year - Asian Paints Limited bagged a Gold, while Dabur and Skechers South Asia Pvt Ltd both won a Silver each. Skechers South Asia Pvt. Ltd. took away two Gold metals for their campaign ‘Go Run 7 Challenge’ in the category Best use of OOH and in the Customer Experience category.

Sony Pictures Networks Pvt Ltd (Brand Extension) and Colgate Palmolive India Ltd (Brand Rejuvenation) both bagged one Gold metal each in the respective categories. Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited bagged one Gold and one Silver in the Category Creation and Transformational Growth categories.

WATConsult has bagged two Gold metals for their campaigns 'Racold - Mind Your Language' in the sub-category Marketing on a Small Budget and 'Suicide Prevention India Foundation - Give Subtitles To Suicide' in the sub-category Not for Profit Sector/ CSR.

Across all categories, Mindshare has bagged one Gold and 4 Silver metals respectively.

Meanwhile, Tonic Worldwide got a Gold for their campaign 'Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd - #BenchOfUnity - How social media brought 2.5 Lac Indians together!', Starcom India bagged two Gold metals in their kitty for their campaigns - 'Dabur - What Stays in the Family' in the sub-category Best Use of TV and 'Dabur Amla Hair Oil - What Women Want' for the sub-category Best Use of Radio.

Madison Media bagged two Gold metals for their campaigns: 'Godrej Nest - Kuch Apna Sa and Tata Salt - #Missing' for the sub-categories Best Use of Experiential Marketing and Best Use of Print. Madison Media was also honoured with 3 Silver metals.

The jury meet for the final verdict was conducted on November 20 with Madhusudan Gopalan, MD & CEO of India Sub Continent Procter & Gamble, being the Jury Chair.
