As exchange4media launches India's first marketing awards, it joins hands with Contract Advertising to create a campaign that celebrates the value a marketer creates for the consumer and the business by being innovative and effective

exchange4media has partnered with Contract Advertising to launch India’s first ever marketing awards– Indian Marketing Awards (IMA) 2014. IMA is looking at setting new standards of marketing excellence, while recognising and honouring creativity, originality and effectiveness delivered by marketers.
Indian Marketing Awards (IMA) aims to advance the marketing profession and to unlock the potential of ideas, markets and businesses and realise their true value for customers and organizations.
IMA 2014: India gets its own marketing awards
Announcing the launch, Annurag Batra, Chairman & Editor-in-Chief, exchange4media group, said, “Indian Marketing Awards is our biggest and most prestigious competition, aimed at advancing the marketing profession and identifying the emerging trends in marketing. The awards will be presented to organizations, individuals and teams who have achieved extraordinary success from innovative and effective marketing practices, having regard to the particular circumstances of different industries and diversity of marketing programs. We are extremely happy to partner with Contract Advertising for conceptualizing the advertising and promotional strategy for the awards. Contract Advertising along with exchange4media jointly worked to put forth a campaign that celebrates the value a marketer creates for the consumer and the business by being innovative and effective.

Marketing has always been about constantly innovating one’s brand proposition, so as a marketer if someone has successfully created new marketing paradigms, by either being a ‘first mover’ or as a ‘fierce competitor’, IMA is for them. The campaign, ‘Ode to the Marketer’, that was recently launched is about these various facets of a marketer’s life.
IMA’s jury will be headed by Vinita Bali, former Managing Director, Britannia. A noted marketer herself, Bali commented, “The Indian growth story is inextricably linked to the Indian marketing story and the ability of its people to create products that are both relevant and differentiated and support them with a business model that is sustainable.”
