BARC Week 3: Dettol Liquid Soap leads Top 10 brands
ITC Ltd. makes it into the top three, while Procter & Gamble, which occupied the third position last week slipped down to the sixth spot in the Top 10 advertisers list
Dettol Liquid Soap secured top slot in the top 10 brands list with 18629 insertions for the third week of 2018 (January 12-18 ) while the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare which was leading the list last week lost its place. Videocon D2H lost its place in the list as Godrej Expert Rich Creme Hair Colour took over spot two with 1388 insertions. The online travel portal Trivago which was at the fourth position slipped to the fifth spot with 9,661 insertions.
Harpic Power Plus/Bathroom Cleaner, Kalyan Jewellers and Honda CB Shine that entered the category at eighth, the ninth and tenth spots last week were displaced by Horlicks, Surf Excel Easy Wash and Roop Mantra Ayur Face Cream with 8661, 8288 and 8216 insertions respectively.
In the Top 10 Advertisers list, FMCG brand Hindustan Lever, Reckitt Benckiser India retained its top two spots with 131698, and 81596 impressions respectively. ITC Ltd. made it into the top three with 42964 insertions while Procter & Gamble which occupied the third spot slipped down to the sixth spot with 27330 insertions.
Cadbury India dropped down to the seventh spot 26148 insertions. Ponds India with 28360 insertions jumped to the fifth spot from the eighth position that it had occupied last week. Colgate Palmolive India retained its position on the ninth slot with 22463 impressions.
