Back Alley’s Vintage Thrift Shop offers shopping for a cause

Back Alley’s Vintage Thrift Shop is back with its second initiative in association with the Inner Wheel’s Queens Necklace Charter. Back Alley is a not for profit bi-annual sale that recycles fashion and other products such as books, toys, CDs, Vinyl and a lot more, making them available to people that might be interested in buying the products at lesser prices.

Back Alley is a dream project of Maya Bhogilal Goyel and Radhika Dhawan.

All the proceeds and unsold items are then donated to NGOs twice a year. The NGOs associated with Back Alley’s Thrift Shop include, the Kinnari Foundation, Atma Vallabh, St Mathews School, and Sparsh.

The sale takes place in Mumbai on October 5 and 6 at the Kinnari Cultural Center, Opposite Umar Park, Bhulabhai Desai Road, next to Tata Garden, Breach Candy, Cumballa Hill.

Unlike other garage sales, Back Alley's Thrift Shop offers an opportunity to shop for a cause. On offer are brands and products from well-known names such as Diesel, River Island, Karen Millen, French Connection, Armani Exchange, and Roberto Cavalli, as well as upcoming designers such as Pooja Kapoor, Riddhika Jesrani and Kristina Glotova.

Besides clothes, the sale also offers home-décor items, festive gifting products, food items and more.
