Zee Tamil's Pongal specials: 3 days of culture, cinema & celebration

Zee Tamil is all set with its Pongal specials. Sticking to its tagline of ‘Manadhal Inaivom, Maatrathai Varaverpom’ (Bridging hearts and welcoming change), the channel continues to connect Tamil audiences worldwide from January 12th to January 15th, 2025.

The channel will kickstart the mega Pongal celebrations with the telecast of GOAT, which will premiere on television for the first time on Sunday, 12th January. The movie will air on Zee Tamil from 6.30pm onwards.

Zee Tamil continues its Pongal special shows on 14th January with the special episode of Pattimandram at 9.00 AM. The thought-provoking debate show will celebrate Tamil traditions that will captivate the audience’s attention. Moderated by Kalaimamani Suki Sivam, the episode with see some popular names debating with each other.

Next, the action-packed movie - Rathnam - airing from 10.30 am onwards on Zee Tamil, will offer thrilling action and drama to complement the festive mood.

Kicking the festive fervour and celebrations up a notch will be a delightful special episode of Tamil Nadu’s No 1 reality show - Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs Season 4.
The entertainment will continue with the telecast of another hit movie - Brother at 3:30 PM.

On Mattu Pongal Day, 15th January, the channel kickstarts the celebrations with Pattimandram from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Featuring eminent speakers engaging in insightful and humorous discussions. At 10:30 AM, the blockbuster movie - Acharya, starring Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan, premieres on the channel and will enthral audiences with its gripping story of a social reformer fighting against corrupt forces to protect a sacred village.

At 1.30 pm, Adayalam (Identity) a brand-new non-fiction game show is set to air on Zee Tamil.
