Reliance listed among top companies on Twitter & LinkedIn for response to Coronavirus

LinkedIn listed 5 companies whose work resonated the most. Amongst the brands, Reliance Industries was amongst other brands like L’Oreal, Decathlon, LEGO group and GE Healthcare. The LinkedIn blog mentioned,” Energy company Reliance Industries sets up one of the first COVID-19 health centres in India. Reliance Industries, an international conglomerate based in India, shared how it partnered with local authorities to create a health center dedicated to coronavirus patients”.
The LinkedIn blog said, "When you’re facing so much uncertainty, it might seem like the safest thing to do is to stay quiet. However, many companies are finding that stepping forward and talking openly with their employees and customers about their coronavirus response is a powerful way to stay connected, transparent, and supportive of each other. “
Twitter too posted on similar lines. In the post, Twitter talked about, 'Brands Leading The Way: How are brands connecting with people during these uncertain times?'
The post talked about how brands are helping in informing, connecting, helping and entertaining.
Reliance Industries made its mark highlighting how brands are helping people in these desperate times. According to the Twitter post, there’s been an 81% increase in tweets about donations from February to March, and B2B brands are answering the call to help.
“Reliance Industries announced a slew of measures including a contribution of 500 crores to PM-CARES Fund to ensure the nation remains prepared, fed, supplied and connected during these unprecedented times”, said the Twitter post.
