Sebamed, a German skincare brand, has launched a heartfelt initiative to one of the most selfless yet often overlooked pillars of new born care: nurses.

Through a powerful series of real-life testimonial films, Sebamed spotlights these unsung heroes. Each film offers an intimate glimpse into a nurse’s world through simple yet moving moments, a first bath, a soothing touch, a gentle lotion application, the films reflect the trust and responsibility they carry as the baby transitions from the safety of the womb to the unpredictability of the world outside.

By highlighting the fragility of a new born’s skin and the importance of the ideal pH, i.e. pH 5.5, Sebamed reinforces its deep connection with healthcare professionals, a relationship rooted in science and trust.

Speaking about the initiative, Minali Bhawsar, Category Head, Sebamed India, said: “The journey of life begins in the hands of a nurse with unwavering dedication. Through this celebration, Sebamed amplifies their voice - a voice rarely recognised despite its unmatched credibility. Sebamed is proud to give them a national platform to share their real stories. When the first caregivers show their trust in Sebamed, it validates our purpose and safety promise: to provide scientifically backed care that protects delicate baby skin with pH 5.5 from day one.”

“This wasn’t just a campaign, it was an homage. We wanted to honour the quiet heroes who hold life before anyone else. Their instinctive care reflects Sebamed’s belief that true protection comes from science that understands sensitivity. Through their hands and Sebamed’s pH 5.5 science, we found a shared language of care that begins with the very first touch.” - Sachin Kamble, CCO, Leo Burnett South Asia.
