- Agrawal, a Chartered Accountant with over 27 years of experience, will focus on strengthening financial management and driving strategic initiatives at the bank.
- His previous roles include Head of Bank Finance at Kotak Mahindra Bank, and he has also worked with ING Vysya Bank and PwC.

Equitas Small Finance Bank Limited (ESFBL) has appointed Manish Agrawal as its President – Finance, the bank announced in a press release. A Chartered Accountant by qualification, Agrawal brings over 27 years of professional experience, including more than 20 years in the banking sector.
In his new role, Agrawal will be responsible for strengthening the bank’s financial management, enhancing governance, and driving strategic financial initiatives. His experience will play a key role in supporting Equitas Bank’s long-term growth and digital transformation goals, the statement added.

Agrawal has extensive expertise in financial reporting, controls, management reporting, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and IT-led finance initiatives—both at standalone and group levels. Before joining Equitas, he served as Head of Bank Finance (Bank & Group) at Kotak Mahindra Bank. He has also worked with ING Vysya Bank and PwC earlier in his career.
Known for his strategic thinking, analytical depth, and people-first leadership style, Agrawal has successfully guided teams through multiple finance transformation journeys across complex banking environments.
