Times Internet has elevated Nikhil Sharma as the Business Head of Newspoint app. The news has been shared by Sharma in a LinkedIn post.
“Growth is never just about numbers, it’s about building ecosystems that move people, and people who move ecosystems. I’m excited to share that I’ve taken on a new role as Business Head, NewsPoint App at Times Internet,” he wrote in a post.
“Over the years, the journey from leading Growth to now steering one of India’s largest content discovery platforms has been incredibly rewarding - shaped by collaboration, experimentation, and the belief that scale and purpose can go hand in hand.
The mission ahead is clear: to continually evolve how India discovers, engages with, and experiences news,” he wrote further.
The appointment is effective November 2025.
Sharma was earlier the Head of Business Development- Times Internet.
He joined Times Internet in February 2017.
