Jitendra Sharma has resigned as Editor-in-Chief of Hindi news channel Jantantra TV, less than a year after taking charge of the role.
Sharma, who joined the channel in November last year, confirmed his resignation to Samachar4Media. However, he did not disclose the reasons behind his decision or share details about his next professional move.
Before joining Jantantra TV, Sharma served as Senior Executive Editor at iTV Network. He moved to the broadcaster in 2024 after a nearly two-decade stint with Zee Media. During his time at Zee Media, Sharma held several key editorial positions. Before leaving the organisation, he was serving as Editor, Delhi Bureau, and Crime & Investigation at Zee News.
Sharma has more than 20 years of experience in the media industry. He began his journalism career with Zee Media.
