Public service broadcasting, DD News’ flagship prime-time show ‘Decode with Sudhir Chaudhary ‘ has crossed 300 million views across digital platforms, marking a major milestone in the show’s short but impactful journey.

The announcement was made by veteran journalist Sudhir Chaudhary, who hosts and curates the show, in a message thanking viewers for their support and calling it “a movement of truth and clarity.”

Launched on May 15, 2025, the show has been positioned to redefine the news narrative on DD News.

In its debut month alone, Decode clocked 23.9 million views on YouTube, accounting for nearly 49% of DD News’ total monthly viewership on the platform. It generated 148 million impressions, making up nearly 68% of the channel’s monthly digital reach. The show also added more than 453,000 new YouTube subscribers to the DD News channel in May, a record-breaking surge for a state-run broadcaster.

Decode with Sudhir Chaudhary stands out for its direct, analytical format, breaking down complex issues ranging from national security and geopolitics to policy debates and social concerns. Chaudhary, who joined DD News in April, brings decades of experience and a distinctive storytelling style that has clearly resonated with a wide cross-section of viewers.
