Ganesh Chaturthi has always been as much about rituals and traditions as it is about the stories, food and moments that bring families and communities together. This year, brands are tapping into that cultural richness while giving familiar festive cues a contemporary spin.

From CaratLane turning the traditional Chandrakor bindi into a modern jewelry statement to Kalyan Jewellers celebrating generations coming together to adorn Bappa, the festive narrative is being shaped around heritage and togetherness. Flipkart Minutes, meanwhile, brings a quick-commerce lens to the celebrations, showing how everything from decorations to modaks can arrive in minutes. Sweet Karam Coffee takes a more hands-on route, encouraging families to recreate the age-old experience of making modak together.

Across these campaigns, the common thread is clear: brands are not merely decorating their communication for the festival, but finding different ways to make Ganesh Chaturthi feel personal, familiar, and relevant to today’s consumer.

CaratLane - “Chandrakor”

CaratLane has launched a new jewellery collection inspired by the Chandrakor, the crescent moon bindi deeply associated with Maharashtrian heritage and seen as a symbol of identity, strength, and pride. The collection reimagines the traditional motif through contemporary fine jewellery, offering a modern way for consumers to celebrate their cultural roots. The launch is supported by a campaign film featuring dancer and actor Mukti Mohan, who is seen wearing the Chandrakor-inspired pieces before the film transitions into a vibrant Maharashtrian celebration featuring dhol-tasha beats.

Flipkart - “Get Bappa's favorites in minutes!”

Flipkart Minutes has launched ‘Everything for Bappa and More, in just 10 Minutes!’ ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi, blending traditional festivities with the convenience of quick commerce. Set in an office, the film sees employees breaking into a festive song as they prepare for the celebrations, showcasing how essentials ranging from manjeeras and decorations to modaks can be delivered quickly through Flipkart Minutes.

Kalyan Jewellers - “Adorning Bappa, Continuing a Tradition”

Kalyan Jewellers has unveiled its latest Ganesh Chaturthi campaign, featuring brand ambassador and actress Pooja Sawant, celebrating the festival’s themes of faith, new beginnings and togetherness. Set in a festively decorated home, the film brings together three generations (a young girl, her grandmother, and a young woman) as they prepare for the celebrations and come together to offer jewellery to Ganpati Bappa.

Sweet Karam Coffee - “This Ganesh Chaturthi, bring home more than just sweets.”

Sweet Karam Coffee has launched a DIY Modakam Kit for Ganesh Chaturthi, bringing the festival’s food traditions back into the family kitchen. The kit includes rice flour, a traditional jaggery-coconut filling and a modakam mould, allowing families to make and steam modakams together at home. Built around the idea that festive memories are created not just by eating but by making, learning, and sharing stories, the initiative aims to recreate the experience of children watching grandparents prepare traditional dishes.
