Google India’s gross ad revenue surges 11% to Rs 31,221 crore in FY24

Google India has reported 11% increase in gross advertising revenue for FY24 to Rs 31,221 crore, according to filings with the Registrar of Companies (RoC). The figure stood at Rs 20,040 crore in the previous fiscal.
Further, Google India earned Rs 2,743 crore in net advertising revenue in FY24, an 18% increase from the previous year.
The company paid Rs 28,477 crore to Google Asia Pacific for purchase of ad space, reflecting an 11% rise from last year’s Rs 25,717 crore.
Gross sales from enterprise products rose by 35% to Rs 1,551 crore. Google India paid Rs 1,396 crore to Google Asia Pacific for services related to enterprise products, up 34% year-on-year.
Google India, meanwhile, has stated that it had submitted an application to the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) to demerge its IT business, transferring it to Google IT Services India.
