Punit Misra, CEO, domestic broadcast business, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited, has his weekends sorted with his morning cup of coffee, whipping up omelettes for his daughters and me-time with books. Sometimes he catches up on a film or parties with friends. Overall, this is “domesticated weekend” in his own words. Here’s what his weekends usually look like:

On a typical weekend you will find me…
making breakfast for my two daughters. They love the omelette I make! Also reading anything I can lay my hands on whenever I find time in the day, and once in a while, a movie or partying with friends in the evening. All in all, a thoroughly domesticated weekend!

My idea of relaxing is…
me-time with an interesting book, with Kishore Kumar or Jagjit Singh playing in the background.

One vice I cannot do without…
is my morning coffee (which has to be freeze dried) and celebration time with Old Monk.

I love a Staycation/adventure…
wherever my wife Diya plans it for us as a family. She does the most outstanding job of planning it always. I am convinced this is her alternate profession, if she chooses.

I confess, I am…
an eternal optimist, sometimes naively so.

The last show I binge watched…
‘Bhootu’ on Zee TV.

I can make a mean…
omelette or Maggi or Upma.

A skill/hobby I want to learn this year…
Diving.

My next vacation/adventure will be…
somewhere in the snow, my daughters’ choice
