The Gillette Mach3 Shave India Movement saw 2,000 men gather at Mumbai’s Chitrakud Grounds on December 14, 2009, in an attempt to create India’s first shaving world-record for most number of men shaved in a day in the same place. The event is conceptualised by BBDO India.
Dabur has appointed Bates 141 and Law & Kenneth as creative partners for two of its brands – Oxybleach and Saka Men’s Bleach – respectively. Industry sources have pegged the combined account size at upwards of Rs 20 crore. Adbur is Dabur’s in-house media agency on the account.
The Delhi Outdoor Advertising Association (DOAA) organised a meeting between its member outdoor media owners (OMOs) and select advertising agencies in Delhi recently to settle certain intractable issues, including inordinately delayed payments. The meeting was presided over by Mukesh Gupta, General Secretary, DOAA and MD, Graphisads.
The IN-Network, the global network of integrated marketing communications agencies, plans to hold its next annual convention in Delhi in 2010 and has roped in Atul Hegde, CEO, Ignitee Digital Solutions, as its board member recently.
