K Yatish Rajawat quits as DNA Editor-in-Chief

K Yatish Rajawat has quit as the Editor-in-Chief of DNA, an English daily owned by Zee Media Group, exchange4media has learnt. Rajawat had joined DNA in August last year, succeeding Dwaipayan Bose.

We reached out to Rajawat for comments through calls and messages, but did not get a response till the filing of the copy.

Before joining DNA, Rajawat was the Chief Strategy Officer of LocalCircles. He has also been columnist for various media entities such as firstpost.com, Businessworld magazine and Rajya Sabha TV.

Rajawat is a fellow at the Institute of Competitiveness, India, the Indian knot in the global network of the Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness at Harvard Business School.

In past he has been associated with Dainik Bhaskar Group and had launched the first Hindi business newspaper in India- Business Bhaskar. He was then elevated to the position of Group Managing Editor of Bhaskar Group in July 2009 to handle all the group publications and newspapers across multiple languages. He is also an award winning journalist and been a mentor and advisor to Future Institute, a global think tank.
