Unexpectation: Being pulled to the dance floor every time a Punjabi number plays: Goafest 2013
Havas Worldwide India’s Satbir Singh’s free-wheeling unexpectation list for Goafest also includes stale lobsters, Ford Figo campaign and boring speakers
Published - 05-April-2013
I unexpect boycotters, hangovers, heat, bad work, bad food, warm beer, fully-clothed people in the water, broken glasses on the rain dance floor, I-do-not-scamsters, shortlists remaining just that, empty beer bottles on the beach, back-biting, stale lobsters, quitters, client no-shows, boring speakers, flatulence, leaving behind sunscreen lotion at home, sand in my bathroom, overbooked Fisherman’s Wharf, un-serviced rental bikes, being pulled on to the dance floor every time a Punjabi number plays (which is every four minutes), unusable registration bag, breakfast buffet finishing by 10.30AM, long speeches by jury chairpeople, Ford Figo campaign, leaking of winners’ list, CDs forcing their way into credit lists by adding an extra syllable, empty conclave hall, male massage therapists, finale DJ having to wind up in 22 minutes, chaos at departure lounge, and the long wait for next year’s Goafest.
