In an email interaction with exchange4media, Prateek Srivastava said that Star News MQ 2011 was a great platform for those in the advertising and media industry to get together and get wholesome entertainment and also to meet old friends and make new ones.
He added that he was looking forward to “enthusiastic participation, above all. And you never know what new things you may get to learn in the process”. According to him, an event like this required not just great quizzers, but also a great audience and all efforts need to be made to ensure that happened.
When asked whether he would be a tough quiz master or a benevolent one, Srivastava replied, “Tough, but with a smile.” He further said that being an industry veteran, he hoped to recount some interesting anecdotes relevant to the questions being asked.
The Delhi round saw some keen competition and finally saw the duo comprising the Godrej/Accenture team of Rohan Khanna (Accenture) and Kumar Vaibhav Tanwar (Godrej & Boyce) emerge the winners with a total of 130 points. The team makes it to the grand finale which will be held in Mumbai on May 27, 2011.
Quiz masters Sudha Natrajan, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Lintas Media Group, and Senjam Raj Sekhar, Senior Vice President and Head - Group Corporate Communications, Bharti Enterprises took charge of the evening’s proceedings and got the best out of all the participants.
