Prachar bags media mandate for Shakti Pumps

Shakti Pumps has moved its media mandate to Prachar Media. While DDB Mudra Max has worked on the business prior to this, the development was not preceded by any media pitch process.

Industry sources peg the business in the vicinity of Rs 15 crore.

Rajesh Jain, MD, Prachar Media said, “Our ambition is to help Shakti Pumps achieve its goal to be category leader. We are committed to this and we look forward to the kind of work we can do for Shakti Pumps to beat all other players in this segment.”

The advertiser at present is not engaged with any creative agency, though it had engaged talent to develop an ad film for the purpose of its communication.

Shakti Pumps is engaged in manufacturing submersible pumps, energy saving submersible motors, SRN booster pumps, water pumps, motors and associated controls panels under the brand name ‘Shakti’. The company had obtained a BIS certificate for ISI mark in 1989 and also acquired ISO: 9001:2000 certifications. It is also the first company to have five star rating in the submersible pumps category from the Bureau of Energy Efficiency. Shakti Pumps currently exports its products to over 60 countries.
