Phil Angelastro, who has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Omnicom Group since September 2014, will continue in his role following the company’s completion of its acquisition of Interpublic Group (IPG) and the finalisation of its executive leadership.

Angelastro began his career at Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers), where he became a partner in 1996, before joining Omnicom in 1997 as Vice President of Finance for the DAS network. He later served as CFO for the Americas, was appointed Controller in 1999, and promoted to Senior Vice President of Finance in 2002. In September 2014, he was named EVP & CFO. Throughout his tenure, Angelastro has been deeply involved in Omnicom’s strategy and operations, guiding financial discipline, corporate governance, and organisational growth.

Over the years, he has provided key leadership in financial management, overseeing capital and liquidity, risk management, and strengthening Omnicom’s balance sheet. He has supervised enhancements to financial planning and analysis, leveraged Omnicom’s scale in areas such as real estate, IT, back-office services, and procurement, and improved working capital management programs.

The merger with Interpublic Group positions Omnicom as one of the world’s largest marketing and communications networks, combining global creative, media, and data capabilities with IPG’s client portfolio. Angelastro’s continued stewardship of Omnicom’s finances will be critical as the company navigates integration and charts its next phase of global growth.
