Leo Burnett beefs up creative team, appoints Prajato Guha Thakurta & Sachin Kamble

Close on the heels of the appointment of RajDeepak Das as Chief Creative Officer of Leo Burnett India, the group has further strengthened its creative team. Prajato Guha Thakurta and Sachin Kamble have been brought on board as Associate Executive Creative Directors, Leo Burnett India. Guha Thakurta and Kamble will be based at the Head Office in Mumbai and will work closely with Das.
Commenting on this latest development, Saurabh Varma, CEO, Leo Burnett Group said, “Leo Burnett continues to be a magnet for incredible creative talent. We want to build the momentum with the hire of Prajato and Sachin. They have an excellent track record and have proven their mettle by creating some outstanding integrated campaigns. Guha Thakurta has worked in JWT, McCann Erickson and DDB Mudra on brands such as Pears, Parachute Advansed, Stayfree, Tata Indicom, Barclays, Radio Mirchi, Neo Sports, Band-Aid, The Economic Times, Lavasa, Electrolux, Rin, Smirnoff and Nokia, among others.
On joining Leo Burnett, he said, “Times are changing and getting even more demanding and dynamic by the day. Leo Burnett is recognised for the wonderful integrated campaigns they’ve created for their clients worldwide. I am very keen and excited to be a part of this great agency and working on some of the iconic brands in their portfoilo.”
Kamble has honed his skills at agencies such as Ambience, Rediffusion Y&R, Ogilvy & Mather, DDB Mudra and JWT on brands including Colgate, Zee TV, Exide, Taj Group of Hotels, Vodafone, Nestle, Ponds, Kotex, Genteel, Savsol, ITC Vivel, Lavasa, Kalpataru, Rin, Smirnoff and Nokia to name a few.
