Henkel India moves media duties to Mediaedge:cia

Given its international alliance with Mediaedge:cia, Henkel India has decided to move its media duties from Lodestar to Mediaedge:cia in India as well. The creative duties continue to be with FCB Ulka. The account is pegged in the region of Rs 15 to 20 crore.

Henkel India has seen some changes in its advertising partners. The company has moved its media duties to Mediaedge:cia. The creative continues to be with FCB Ulka. The other agencies contesting for the business, apart from the incumbent Lodestar include Media Direction and Optimum Media Solutions. The account is pegged at Rs 15 to Rs 20 crore.

Henkel officials offer that a reason the account moved was Mediaedge:cia’s international alliance with Henkel. Partnering in India now, Shubha George, MD, Mediaedge:cia said, “We are delighted to partner Henkel in India. We have a strong relation in many countries across the world with them and we are happy to progress this in India as well. We look forward to partnering their growth plans in India.”

The portfolio includes the laundry brand, ‘Henko’ and ‘Pril’ and the cosmetics brands with the Fa franchise, Margo and the new hair colour range Scwarzkopf.
