Mother’s Day is just around the corner, and Epson is celebrating moms everywhere with a sweet and emotional film. The campaign, titled #ShesAlwaysWithYou, acknowledges the indomitable spirit of every mother that comes to the fore, particularly when her child faces adversity.

The insight on which the film is based, is the universally acknowledged truth that moms will do whatever it takes for their children. The film delves into the relationship between a mother and her teenage daughter, and is a slice-of-life story that is instantly relatable. A simple yet effective statement of a mother’s love and the lengths that she will go to for her child.

“Our mothers always have our backs - this is a truth that we take for granted sometimes. We really wanted to remind our viewers of this immutable fact, and up the emotional stakes, as we urge them to show their moms some appreciation for everything that they do. Epson’s printers are enablers of moms everywhere. This film gave us the opportunity to say a sweet thank you to every mom,” said Kishore Karumbaiah, CCO/Partner of Langoor Digital, the Bangalore-based agency that handles the digital duties for Epson India.

Tushad Talati, Director - Brand and Communication at Epson India sees the campaign as a way to build a deeper bond with the brand's target audience. He said, “Epson has over 3 Million users for its EcoTank printers in India, and a big part of this user base are parents of school-going children, especially mothers. As a brand, we wanted to shine a spotlight on the sacrifices - small and big - that mothers make for their kids. We felt the time was right for this campaign and to be present in our consumers’ lives with a warm story that everyone will relate to and share with their mother.”
