BBDO India Private Limited reported a net profit of Rs 2.99 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2024. The agency’s total income for FY24 stood at Rs 37.05 crore, down 19.31% from Rs 45.91 crore in FY23. Revenue from operations contributed Rs 31.89 crore, representing a 25.35% decrease compared to Rs 42.71 crore recorded in the previous year.

Despite the softening of topline revenue, BBDO India saw a notable rise in other income, which grew 61.01% year-on-year, from Rs 3.20 crore in FY23 to Rs 5.15 crore in FY24.

Established in 2008, BBDO India was launched to deliver on the global BBDO promise of ‘The Work, The Work, The Work’, a philosophy that emphasises the importance of creative output above all else.

Over the years, the agency has developed a philosophy tailored to India’s diverse consumer base, grounded in the belief of ‘Create Acts, Not Ads’. This approach has driven long-term, engagement-focused campaigns for brands like Gillette, 7 Up, GE, Johnson’s Baby, Aviva Life Insurance, Blackberry, Nicorette and Quaker Oats. Many of these initiatives have earned global recognition, including the world’s first Black Lion at Cannes for creative effectiveness.

In 2025, BBDO India also bagged a Silver Lion in the Sustainable Development Goals category for Ariel’s ‘Share The Load’ campaign. The agency further made waves with a shortlist in the Entertainment Lions for Music category at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2025 for its Oye Lucky campaign for WhatsApp.

Additionally, BBDO India was named South Asia Agency of the Year at AdFest 2025, securing 10 awards, including a Grand Prix, Gold, Silver and Bronze Lions.
